Autumn in the western arm of the Aigüestortes National Park provides stunning colours. Recurring glaciations has left the valley dotted with numerous lake, rivulets and waterfalls, hence the name, meaning ‘Twisted Waters’ in Catalan. At this time of year one can walk all day and hardly see a soul!
